Stories and highlights

There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

We start each year with a Smoking Ceremony. This ceremony gives us the space to practice some mindfulness and to connect with the ancient and historical land our school sits on.

Cheltenham Girls regularly has a large number of students nominated for HSC showcases. Here you see one of our students performing at the HSC Dance Callback.

Students have the opportunity to be involved in numerous extra-curricular activities, The 2025 production of Puffs was a hit and we are looking forward to staging Shrek The Musical in 2026.

We end our year with our Annual Presentation Day. This wonderful event has been held at the Sydney Opera House since it opened in 1973. This is a celebration where our students, staff, families, and the community get together to showcase and celebrate our students' achievements.

Student Leadership

All students attend our Swimming and Athletics Carnivals which are held at world class venues. These are always fun days mixed with serious competition and lots of light hearted fun.

Our school holds numerous music, drama, plays and musicals throughout the year.
