Changed Traffic Conditions in The Promenade

Please note the changes are:

1. Installation of a ‘No Right Turn’ sign in The Promenade at the intersection with Beecroft Road (8:00am – 9:30am, 2:30pm – 4pm, School Days).

2. Extension of existing ‘No Parking’ zone (42 metres) on The Promenade (8:00am – 9:30am, 2:30pm – 4pm, School Days).  Parking will be available at all other times.

3. Installation of a ‘No Stopping’ zone (18 metres) at the utilities and staff access driveway on The Promenade (Monday to Friday).

4. Standardised times on the existing ‘No Stopping’ zone on The Promenade (8:00am – 9:30am, 2:30pm – 4pm, School Days).

We have temporarily installed three different corflute advisory signs (see photos attached) that will be in place until the end of term 1:

1. Changed Traffic Conditions at the intersection of The Promenade and Beecroft Road where the new No Right Turn has been installed.

2. Changed Parking Conditions at the queuing end of the No Parking Zone.

3. Drop-Off Pick-Up Zone Starts pole wrap at the start of the No Parking Zone.

Police and Council’s traffic rangers have been informed of the changes and will be expecting parents to not overstay the 2 minute maximum time within the No Parking Zone. Rangers will also be patrolling the 15 minute parking zone outside the KU Kindergarten.
