Hello and welcome to our school.

Cheltenham Girls’ High School is an exciting place to learn!

Our school was established as a local comprehensive high school in 1957 and is located on the magnificent former residential estate of the Vicars family.

Cheltenham Girls' High School is committed to providing a variety of quality learning experiences in a caring, cooperative, and challenging environment. We strive to develop self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence. We promote positive, collaborative relationships with each other and the community which is built on respect and concern for others.

Our school has thorough wellbeing processes. Programs are inclusive ensuring every student is known, valued, and cared for. Student leadership has a strong voice through a variety of student led teams and interest groups.

We offer a broad curriculum including academic, creative, and sporting courses and opportunities as well as accelerated courses and extensive extracurricular programs. We celebrate strong NAPLAN results and the HSC results continue to see the school recognised as a top comprehensive school in NSW.

Our highly experienced staff are committed to planned professional learning and the implementation of evidence-based teaching practices that support and drive continuous whole school improvement.

We enjoy a strong positive relationship with our Parents and Citizens Association and we work together to continually improve the programs and facilities available to our students.

This is a place where every student can flourish as they grow and develop into our citizens of tomorrow.

We are PINK, PROUD and PUBLIC!
