CGHS: Elevate Study Skills Evening for Parents
Event Time: Monday 17th June 6.30-7:30 pm
Location: CGHS Staff Common Room or School Hall (dependant upon RSVP)
Dear Parents/Carers of Cheltenham Girls' High School,
As part of the school plan for 2018-2020, our strategic direction focuses on 'Partners In Learning.' We would like all Parents/Carers to increase their engagement in the support and the learning of our students' wellbeing at school and at home. In consultation with the Parent and Citizen Association, we would like to support parents, by providing a Study Skills evening for that focuses on supporting our girls with their time management, motivation and minimization of distractions. Presenters from Elevate conducted a similar seminar for all the student in each year group last term, with areas discussion including study skills, time management and memory and mnemonics.
By mirroring the forums close together, parents will gain assistance in understanding where to access information and how to start conversations with the student’s at home. Please refer to the following link for additional information.
